Partner Marketing Manager
Job Description
The Partner Marketing Manager is responsible for all ongoing marketing activities for Partner Programs to help ReadyTalk drive customer acquisition, retention and growth. This includes developing effective joint marketing strategies and tactical marketing programs designed to successfully launch new integrations. In addition, this role will develop and implement ongoing marketing initiatives to maximize marketing qualified leads (MQLs) and revenue opportunities for assigned partners. This person is a member of the Outbound Marketing team but works collaboratively with the Business Development, Sales, Account Management and Product Strategy teams. In a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment, the role ensures a wide range of marketing-related project deliverables are simultaneously completed by various internal and external stakeholders on time, on budget and within our strategy.
Responsibilities
- Drive, adapt and implement ReadyTalk specific partner marketing initiatives consisting of a mix of launching new partnerships as well as ongoing programs that drive value from existing partners
- Collaborate with Business Development and Product Strategy teams to develop and execute against a go-to-market strategy for new partners
- Develop metrics for assessing ROI on campaign performance and systems for reporting; analyze and evaluate ROI on all partner marketing activities
- Support customer acquisition, conversion and retention targets for each partner account
- Work with Product Marketing to facilitate internal sales trainings on partner integrations, partner products and relationships
- Initiate programs to educate Partners on ReadyTalk services (sponsorships at shows, field events, live and on-demand trainings, etc.)
- Manage ongoing joint marketing plans including the execution and promotion of multi-touch B2B demand generation campaigns including content marketing, thought leadership and webinars
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in marketing or a related field
- 5+ years B2B marketing experience (i.e., Marcom, demand gen, product marketing ) preferably for a technology company
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of marketing programs, events and promotions, as well as experience in developing partner marketing plans
- Strategic thinker combining classic marketing skills with experience in partner marketing and distribution of products and services
- Superior relationship and influence management skills in interactions with senior leaders, peers, product management and sales teams
- Proven track record of driving results in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
Knowledge and Skills
- Very thorough, detail- and completion-oriented; able to manage several projects simultaneously
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills—a self-starter, yet is able to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority
- Customer focused, can be a partner advocate and is able to tailor activities to the partner
- Experience with marketing automation (Eloqua a plus), customer relationship management (especially Salesforce) and analytics platforms
- Impeccable written, verbal, and presentation skills. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- High energy, enthusiasm and initiative; some travel required
