How do i change the elqform/elqid field names for external integration?

Hi all,

First poster, and an utter beginner with Eloqua, so bear with me.

I'm trying to integrate an existing form handler (RS Form!Pro) that we use on our CMS (Joomla 2.5) but to no avail.

I was able to create a form in Eloqua, figure out the 'elqFormName' and 'elqSiteId'  values and added them as hidden fields in our RSForm solution.

However, RSForm has a nasty habit of parsing the field names and adding 'form[$name]' to them, see below:

elqFormNameform[elqFormName]hidden
elqSiteIdform[elqSiteId]hidden

I tried adding java to my RSForm backend to try to remove the form[] bit, but this didnt work.

I tried using java/php to force the html <input ...> into the form, but that didn't work either (i'm not that great in java/php).

Does anyone have any brilliant tricks to solve this issue?

- a snippet example on how to properly push html into it?

- a quick how-to on how to change the elqFormName/elqSiteId form names on Eloqua's backend?

I'm open to suggestions but if nothing works I'll be forced to copy paste all the form html and style it from scratch.

Carlos Cerqueira , Sander Smolenaers?
