E10 Beta Editor - Addt'l Eloqua HTML Code appended to website URLS and affecting Google Analytics

Hi.

We recently started using the E10 Beta HTML editor for our emails. We noticed that when we paste our corporate website URLs into the a href code, Eloqua appends some additional code after it (see red text below) This code becomes part of the tracked link in the email.   See example below:

<center><img width="56" height="51" src="http://images.response.genrecorporate.com/EloquaImages/clients/GeneralReinsuranceCorporation/%7Bf90f18ff-3627-444a-93fc-6e80e5491a16%7D_RCPubIcon_Book.png" alt="Publication" style="display:block;"></center>

<a href="http://www.genre.com/knowledge/publications/lir14-1-en.html?elq=~~eloqua..type--emailfield..syntax--recipientid~~&elqCampaignId=~~eloqua..type--campaign..campaignid--0..fieldname--id~~&elqTrack=true" style="text-decoration:none;color:#005695;">Liability Insurance Report</a><br>

Our webmaster noticed this additional codes are also coming into GA, and in GA the appended html code is making the original unique URL link a brand new URL link, which is affecting how our webmaster calculates web metrics.

Wondering if anyone else has had this experience and what the solution (if any) is.

I submitted a case through Oracle / Eloqua support, but wanted to reach out to the community as well.
